Brent crude trading at $83.54/bbl

Crude oil futures on Friday declined 0.02 per cent to Rs6,614 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for May delivery fell Rs1 or 0.02 per cent to Rs6,614 per barrel with a business volume of 6,460 lots.

Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 0.27 per cent lower at $79.44 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.32 per cent lower at $83.54 per barrel in New York.
